This was first reported on Thursday.
"The La Vega branch of the National Police is currently investigating the discovery of the body of an American woman
in the Arroyazo sector of Constanza municipality."

Appears to be one of the usual suspects.
People need to understand the risk involved when hiring servants, domestic helpers and gardeners in this country.
RIP

I read on another website that she was a Dominican with American citizenship.

Here is a photo of her. It also says that she had a mark on her head pointing that it hit something.

Thieves usually kill the victim when they can recognize them.

When they want to hide an inside job they always say "American", "Dutch", etc, but they are Dominicans.
They mostly presents the person with another nationality if they are Dominican dual nationals and something bad happen to them, such as being murdered or comitting a crime.

The same is done by the media in other countries including the USA where a dual national is present as a Dominican if he/she killed/rape/rob someone, but if the same person wins a gold metal in an international sport or receive recognition or a prize from another entity then they are presented as Americans.

In the case of the deceased, I bet due to what happened many pointout that she was of Dominican origin (despite her father was American), but if she would had been recognized for something outstanding many if not all of these very same people wouldn'thave a problem seeing her as an American only.
