This is truly sickening. A video is shown in the article of this "man" beating the woman by the stairs and it's caught by the security camera. This is a Dominican couple, though its not clear where in the DR this took place. Horrible and sickening!

There is a warning at the beginning of the video that basically says it could be too much for some people to watch.

His side of the story: It's OK to beat your wife if she accuses you of being unfaithful.

Here's another "Buen macho"

the loser videotaping the second clip should be charged as well, he has a level of culpability for not stopping it

Is there such a law in the DR that would make that person guilty?
Would a journalist be guilty for not stepping in or just a person who is not a journalist?

José Joel Capellán is the name of the abuser and it was in Santiago.

I hear ya, The only law is being a man with a conscious. I realize it is very dangerous to intervene here in domestic situations, however a simple "no mas" or similar might distract the complete loser.

Did you see today's news about the guy who killed another man with a machete because he told him to stop yelling?

The worst is when kids see it. We’ve kept kids from down the block when the little boy’s dad decides to lay into his mom. They don’t even live together anymore.
Her teenage daughter is 15 now so she just leaves with her novio.
The little boy stopped crying when it happens before he was 5.
