Yes, he looked every bit the character in the book. He was part of an "unofficial" itinerary, and he was very accomodating. You could tell he admired Hemmingway and proud of the role he played in the book.

if you feel its work to look good and clean, then you also belong in tourist resorts. In santiago, if you dress less than professionally, you would feel disgusting. No one walks around here unshaven, in shorts and with hair as if you have come out of a tsunami storm. We feel good being clean and well groomed, not to mention, dress properly. I can see how it could be a monumental task for many, just to comb their hair.
This is why we have santiago, capital for many people and resorts for tourists.

Hey I only jest and you can do what ever you like I am a kind of live and let live guy. I never complain when my posts get deleted and I never worry about other peoples comments ...life is too short and its finally stopped raining in London and yes TGIF off for a nice meal and really good bottle of Chablis.......No rockys ribs unfortunately but I will do my best to enjoy the steak instead.
