I recently found this in craigslist, looks like they are doing a one sided film. I sent them an email, below.

You may wish to look at the whole history of the situation. Fact is this same thing happen in the 1920’s and DR lost the province of Hinche the size of Santiago back then. This province was clearly part of DR, but since there where so many Haitians their, Haiti claimed it.

Beside the land grab by Haiti in the 20’s due to a state sponsor land encroachment, many Dominicans still hold animosity consciously or unconsciously at the Genocide committed in the Cibao area by Haitian Troops.

Nothing independent about this. They have their narrative and have made their conclusions. Now they just need some film to support them. No other 'historical facts' allowed.

you are certainly not going to get anywhere with stuff like

:"the DR lost the province of Hinche"

how absurd that sounds - if you knew anyone from Hinche

or how the people from the Capital swarmed up to Hinche to take refuge in those mountains with their Capital in rubble

you sit here on this side
with huge massive acres of unused land
vast parcels of arable land
with a few cattle grazing
held out of production by your barons

and your vast national parks

and your own poor
who you keep in dismal wages
disgusting wages here in the Capital

$200 a month for secretaries?
$500 a month for college grads?

while your politicos drive five jeepettas at time

and on the weekends

going out to
casa de campo

your pretty play boys
roar off the road
in their
lamborgini
mazzarottens

there
may
not
be
justice
in
this
world
but
there
will
be
in
the
next
