Ants!!!

Someone posted not to long ago that equal parts of baking soda and powdered sugar mixed together does an excellent job of getting rid of them, even the tiny sugar ants.

Best of all, it's non toxic to folks and pets...

I tried this and it seems to have worked!!!!! Thanks JD
BTW I think you can get ant traps in the dollar store!

You're not going to find the Combat traps in Cabarete. I saw them yesterday at Bravo supermarket in Santo Domingo, at RD$189 for a box of six. I'm pretty sure that I also saw them somewhere in Puerto Plata. Check the grocery stores which have more imported stuff, like Tropical.

I'm going to try that baking soda/powder sugar combination. At least, that's easy to find. I still love the ease of use of the Combat ant and roach discs.
