I've been in Santo Domingo for quite some time now, and I was hoping to find a permanent church to start attending. Are there any churches (preferrably non-denomination, but any one is fine) that have English services in SD?
Thanks in advance.

Don't know about non-denominational but used to be a Baptist church on Sarasota, down by bella vista mall , and think that the Episcopalian on independencia has english services.

New English Church Services

Two churches I can tell you about:

There is a new English church service that just began a few weeks ago, and already has quite a group in attendance.

Capital Baptist Church(Iglesia Bautista de la Capital) now holds worship services totally in English in addition to services in Spanish.

You are cordially invited to attend. Please let others know also. We are also contemplating additional service times as the Lord leads.

We are located on Calle Guacanagarix #12 in the Milloncita area just off Avenida Privada. From 27 Febrero, turn North onto Privada at Musicarro. Take the 2nd left onto Calle Guacanagarix. We are located 1/2 block down the street on the right. If you have any questions call me at 809-732-6930(casa) or 809-812-6851(cell).

Service times are Sundays at 7:00 P.M.

The International Baptist Church also holds English Services each Sunday, late afternoon I believe. I cannot give you specific info as to location except to say they are about a block off of Nu?ez, in a large school, behind Supermercado Hola (fairly close to Kennedy.) Sorry, don't know the name of the street or the hours of their services. They also have two rocking Spanish Services with English translation available (small earphones set) Sunday mornings. The Spanish church is an upper class church with lots of English speakers, and most, if not all of the staff are fluent in English. They will even include an English song or two in their services sometimes. Style of worship is more like Calvary Chapel than Baptist.
