well there may be a thousand salons but if opening a salon is what she wants to do then she is not gonna want to sell lingeris door to door, right? How about trying for just the manicure, pedicure set up? That is a really small investment and if she gets clients and goes to their houses, she can make 200 pesos per.
That is really a pretty good part time gig since it is a low investment and if she gets good with acrylic nails and all she can start charging more. And Domnicans always have money for their nails. It is the one thing that they have money for.
Depending on how much she is willing to carry around with her.. there are some great foot baths..

and if you can get her some REALLY high quality polish like OPI. which I have never even seen for sale in this country....
The best nail polish brands | Nails and Polish *well maybe you do not want to use the best brands if you want return customers but that is the brand that all the best nail places in the States use
Here is the best place for wholesale stuff

You could set her up for a few hundred for just nails and see how she like it.
If she gets good at designs with acrylic nails..

she can really develop a following..
All she needs is a following.. a flyer.. a few discount coupons to give to her classmates who will only have to pay for her pasajes for the first one..
The idea of the salon is that she can socialize.. and it is the one thing that Domnican women always have money for.
and there is always a shortage.. at every one that I have been to.. of women who do the manicure pedicure..
so that is what I would recommend.
there is probably a school for it but I think it would just be more fun to get those practice hands and a lot of polish remover..
but ask her.
