Well prices are about 35% or less than original cost.

Have you ever been to a real auction here in the DR, people will pay well well over 50 - 60% of retail.

As far as containers Santo Domingo to Miami there's MSC, China Shipping, Crowley as well as others & we are going to Houston and
that'd be Crowley for us.

I can do the shipping myself, not sure about wanting the hassle, so give a shot at selling.............

came here with nothing but a suitcase.....................

Kind of expensive to be honest...

in your cheap ass world of bunk furniture, where do you shop La Serena? or Walmart? not that there's anything wrong with shopping those places, just not for decently crafted furniture!

How does that work here, do you contact the shipping companies directly or a freight forwarder?

Depends on your ability's and knowledge....

You can book the container directly with a local agent of one of the lines, (B&R handles several different lines) do the paper work or hire someone to do the paperwork both ends, here
and destination or hire a freight forwarder, but most freight forwarders here in the DR
do not handle residential or personal goods, in such case you would need a mudanza company, which is just a forwarder that charges more for personal goods!!!
