I agree that crime can happen inside gated communities like Casa de Campo, but my bar stool guess (with strong coffee) is that it's not that easy to pull it off.

As far as an Italian being murdered inside Casa de Campo 7 years ago...News Flash: crimes of passion happen every single day, in every single town, in every single state, and in every single country, no exception.

Again, how about some details about the Italian being murdered? Was it a crime of Passion? a random murder? a drug deal gone wrong? A jilted lover, an green-eyed ex? etc. Bring some details to the table. otherwise, it sounds like this: "Italian murdered in the Caribbean!" Murdered over what? Why? How?

I've got nothing with blue-eyed ostriches...i've seen a few blue-eyed birds i would trap, seduce, and screw in a heartbeat!

Still Chris Colon does not seem to understand why so many people , including children ,simply disappear and are never heard of again. It is not just in India ,it is in all the poor countries .and why are they stolen...in many cases to take and sell their organs. The mostrecent programme on this was about the poor in Brazil ..so why not here also ?? Even the US talks about the trade in humans who simply disappear

Ok, you convinced me. Casa de Campo is dangerous! Scary! Crazy! Boonies! And Hillbilly living!

I'll tell you what i'm willing to do...i will trade my driftwood shack (think Beverly Hillbilles TV show) for anyone's house or villa inside Casa de Campo. I'm willing to throw in a gorgeous Redhead and a pet Monkey that only understands commands in Russian or short bursts of pepper spray. The redhead only understands commands with a quick burst of pepper spray directly into the mouth or crotch area....although she's slowly becoming immune to pepper spray. You might want to invest in a strong Tazer.

Anyway, I will happily give up my beautiful driftwood shack that i hand built over 4 years (it's a Frank Lloyld piece of architecture genius in progress) for whatever Villa inside Casa de Campo you want to sacrifice. Again, i will throw in the redhead, pet monkey, a shot of tequila, and a video tape of my favorite Italian porn film.

Compared to the rest of the DR, CdC is very safe.

However, unlike you I would not want to trade in my adobe for a villa there.
And I have many reasons for that.
