Banco de Progreso (Churchill or Plaza Naco for example) allow to withdraw 15000 RD$ per day on foreign Credit Cards.
I do since many years without any problem.

Sorry I was not specific enough I was talking about a Progreso ATH card not a foreign card.

For credit card it is another story.
Can you confirm you can withdrawn 15 000 in one shot? I think you make 3 process 5000 each, and you are charge for 3 times the fees 100 pesos x 3.

I take all my cash since more than 10 years in the drive through on Churchill or Plaza Naco and did it today.
In 2007 I could even withdraw 20000 RD with 1 withdrawal with a foreign credit card as well as with my foreign bank account card, both worked.
For safety reasons I stopped to withdraw money from my bank accounts when I was victim of a theft of the code (inside job of Visacard in the DR) last year.
Visa acted very fast and credited the desputed amount immediately.
