After reading and being enlightened here, I am further convinced it is a less than truthful story.Sorry my opinion clashes with the #metoo-movement, and thank you for the varying angles

The Husband and the other couple went looking for her and they went to the front desk a bunch of time for help. Only 1 interview was published, People. The lady also posted her story on FB of course. Nobody has interviewed the Husband.

Ok OK So that is her husband sporting a dirty baseball cap , shorts and sandals doing a scheduled news interview..wow...so telling

I am now more inclined to believe that the husband may have committed an assault of his own wife, rather than a complete stranger. Too much alcohol. High heat. A little flirtation with staff. A very jealous husband. A few harsh words behind closed doors? Not an outrageous assumption. More in line with a domestic violence victim, rather than a horrific attack within the confines of an AI resort....regardless of country.

from the looks of that dude you may be right and she scared to death for fear he will kill her if she tells the truth..... sad to say but domestic violence like this happens all the time

She may be scared to death, but he sure looks like the expectant recipient of a new pickup truck with large fishing boat attached. Just wait for the money to come rolling in.

She was the victim of a horrific incident. This is known, and acknowledged. She very well may be a pawn in this whole situation, which makes it that much worse. Not being able to admit the truth publicly, to point the finger at the correct attacker, and also not being able to bring herself to assess false blame towards another innocent human being. Could this be why she can not identify her attacker?

Again, this "attack" occurred four months ago, and not one person heard of it. I assume she was removed from the premises by ambulance. Not one other visitor on the resort observed this, nor reported it.....to anyone?

There is a valid reason resorts and cruise ships retain legal representation. The old "I slipped and fell routine, and it was your fault" has grown old. Now it is time to play up on everybody's worst fears and seize the moment. The AI's video surveillance will be the proven truth. In the end there will highly likely be a cash settlement, just to make the bad press go away. This does not solve the problem, regardless of which direction persons wish to view it in.
