In her defence it was dark, she wasnt fully sober, she was hit from behind and he was bigger than her. It is quite possible all she saw was a flash of uniform colour before fighting to stay alive. Several articles in Listin Dairo mention that a rape kit was used at the clinc so maybe the police do have more evidence than has been discussed here.

I find it interesting that the thread which revolves around two persons who actually passed on in a hotel, is generating far less volume than this thread where a person was allegedly attacked, and decided to make news of it four months later. Telling.

i am puzzled, and i am trying to figure out why an absolute stranger would visit this degree of violence upon another person. i will always believe that someone whom you know would be more likely to dedicate the time and effort to beat the bejeezus out of you than a stranger. even in street muggings, a blow or two suffices. this was a deliberate series of malicious blows.
