The Bavaro resort is made up of 5 hotels, Garden, Casino, Beach, Golf, and Palace. Where they are in the resort is pretty selfexclamatory. The Garden is more for families, as they have a babysitting service, and playroom. The Casino is farther away from the beach, and better for older people. The Beach is right on the beach. The Golf is on the course, (also farther from the beach). The Palace is the nicest, with the most ammenities, you can also use the services of the other 4 hotels when staying there. (costs alittle more) While at the other hotels you may not use the Palace without paying. As for Catalonia I have no idea check the hotel reviews for info about that. Good luck on finding a resort.
