Banco Poular ate my card

a couple years ago I used my Canadian card at a atm. I asked for 10,000 pesos and it tried to give me a bundle that was too large to fit through the slot. I got what I could until the machine pulled the rest in leaving me out of luck. The banco poplar said to complain to my bank in Canada. I did and was refunded the money in about 2 months.

Not making mistakes takes experience. Experience comes form making mistakes.
If you are really on the ball you can learn from the mistakes of others.

I rarely use an ATM even in Canada/US. In the RD I plan ahead.
If I need cash I get it at the counter in the bank. The teller always hands me back my ATM card.

Is it a 5% charge on over the counter with a foreign card at BP? I think it is.
