Basketball?

Does anyone on the board know where a local 13 year old kid with some basketball talent can go to get some decent coaching or sign up to play in a league in Santo Domingo? Any help would be appreciated.

MY 17 YEAR OLD SON PLAYS ON THE COURTS AT THE "ESTADIO OLIMPICO" in SD most Sundays.
Pick up games, buy everyone is welcome to come play.

If SD is like Santiago (probably is) the teams and coaches are in the barrios for the neighborhood kids.

I don't know how good or bad the coaching is.

There are teams that organize and play against each other in tournaments. I don't think there are upscale leagues with good coaching like basketball camps in the States though.

my son played/practiced at the"Club Maricio Baez"in the "La Fe" neighborhood of Santo Domingo.
They have training for all ages, and a good team in the SD city league for young men, mostly 20 somethings.
It is located in a new school building that "Leonel" built in his own "Barrio Natal".
Modern, indoors, even "air cond."
They may have a website.
