On June 22 (Sunday) at 8pm on HGTV a show called Beachfront Bargain Hunt is going to be showing Cabarete and surrounding area homes. It's like a House Hunters show type thing. Channel 100 on Delancer I believe.

Our house is one of the homes they show. I'm really looking forward to seeing the other houses and what is said about the North Coast!

*Disclaimer our House is NEVER actually that clean, we hid most things under stuff & in the Garage! Jajajaja.

Well that is a very good point lol! Ours is in Las Canas, not sure if they will say that or what but there is a pool in the centre of the yard that looks out onto a huge wooden gate that opens onto the Beach. 2 double doors on main floor opening onto the patio, big Balcony in the Master Bedroom on the second floor looking out onto the Beach as well.

Any pictures? Is your garage available for rent? Can i sublet your garage, and then rent it out by the hour as a cabana? I need to find a way to supplement my income.

The couple/family on" Beachfront Bargain Hunt" bought the villa in "Vista del Caribe"

Just caught the end of the show, when the couple said, that they made their choice to buy in "Vista del Caribe", hey that's where my place is also, at Playa Encuentro!, the surfing beach; great to hear that; I have always thought it to be a great spot, just on the west side of Cabarete, conveniently 5 minutes from town, and then 10 minutes to Sosua.

..., by the way Harley, I know where you place is, in Las Canas, because I had looked at those oceanfront lots, when I first came here,'bout 2004, that "round" shaped house on the left-not ocean side of road as you entered, there was only one house on the ocean side at that time(closed up rooming house/hotel at that time), as you went down that "soggy" road, always thought they were nice lots and BIG, but I was concerned of the distance from airport and Cabarete area, so I bought in Cab, glad I did, but also now , I have ventured to Luperon(Safe Hurricane Harbor for boat travelers), and bought there as well,...a little quieter,...nice beach, short ride to La Isabella, and Playa Ensenada, but a "coming" area also, but at a slow pace

I have the house next to Harley’s and it’s for sale, more rustic, less money and it is a great area.
