As part of its 25 Anniversary, the Bellapart Museum in Santo Domingo is having an art contest. The artworks must be entered betwen October 7 - 12, 2024. The verdicts from the judges will be published before November 1, 2024. The exhibition in the museum and prizes will take place before November 22, 2024.
Participants must be Dominicans living in the Dominican Republic or abroad. Foreigners are also allowed to participate if they have more than 5 years living in the Dominican Republic. The participants can be individuals or part of a group. The artworks (bidimensionals -paintings- and tridimensional -sculptures-) must be 2 original ones created between 2022 - 2024 that haven’t been exhibited or contests in any museum or gallery in the world, they haven’t been photographed and shown in social media, magazines or newspapers; or any digital mediums. Each artwork must be accompanied with documentation of the artworks trajectory.
There are other rules including anyone wishing to participste filling an inscription form.
