Where do folks recommend changing dollars to pesos these days. Not a significantly large amount but I would like to get a top exchange rate.
follow the tread that has been around for years. Number one on the hit parade.Where do folks recommend changing dollars to pesos these days. Not a significantly large amount but I would like to get a top exchange rate.
there is one beside the super pola as well as the one in charamico,,,down from the caribe tours bus terminalThe OP is in Sosua and I'm assuming that's where he wants to change money(?). There's only one CaribeExpress there.
Just a head's up,passport is required.I expect I'll use the place next to S. Pola Easy to get to and I already know where it is. Thanks everyone.
I went today the S. Pola Caribe Express. My cedula was all the ID they required. Had to wait in a bit of a line to get in but other than that pretty painless. $RD 58.0 to the dollar.
Mapello? There is not much difference in the rate all over town. I like Manuel who has a booth inside of Rockies just because he is fun to deal with. The best rates comes from a guy who wanders all over town with pockets full of money, but I can't remember his name. No passport needed with those guys.
