Thanks for the info. This will be my first time driving up from SDQ as I normally fly into POP but since I am coming over from Costa Rica it was substantially cheaper for 3 of us to fly into SDQ. My main concern was if there was any washed out sections of the road from the hurricane but since that is not an issue I look forward to the drive now. I do not think we will have time to stop at Playa Caleton as we will have friends waiting for us in Cabarete but I do think we will make it over there on another day as it looks like a beautiful place to pass some time.
