xe has been my go to for years.
Youre sending to Canada? I ask cause it's a Canadian company from the profile.. did you hook this up to your bank here through the regular add a payee ? or do you go physically to the branch with information in respect to the transfer?

Look into Knightsbridge or Remitbee. You can also have your DR bank do a wire transfer to a Canadian bank for around $65 usd. Keep it under 10,000 CDN. Preferably under 9 if you can otherwise you will have Fintrac looking into you.

Ask your Cdn bank...........
but sending it from Dominican Rep -> Canada , I dont really expect them to know the services available from DR.. it's more or less the DR bank since all the US/Canadian services are available but it's more of a question if they're compatible with services from DR, and the banks are restrictive here ( DR )

Yes, I have used it to send money everywhere. They have the best rates, that I've found. I set my one bank account up as payor, and then I set my other bank account up as payee.

Edit to add: Just to make it more clear, I don't set it up directly with the Dominican bank. I set it up on their website to take an ACH debit from my bank account.

I’m looking into using PayPal for this. I will post if I find anything useful.

I have to send under $1000 each month to Canada so cheaper is better.
