Update re Tom just posted by his wife on FB:

"Tom's surgery went really well today.
They did not have to remove the lung which was super great news.
They removed a large section and will send it away for testing.
I saw him a bit after the operation and he was breathing and did not need oxygen.
I just got back from seeing him at 4pm.
He was talking and making sense.
The doctors say everything went better than they had expected.
So far so good! He will be in ICU for 24-48 hours.

Thank you for all the good wishes and support. It sure helped!!!"

Oh my god devastated when I realised I had pressed dislike, please forgive my stupidity to do something so careless. I w ish nothing but the best for Tom & Tanya

We all do it flopsy!!! No worries!

You click like and it changes to dislike, but your like doesn't show up so fast so you click again, but ... it changed to dislike. You're in for both.

I am Canadian. Tom is Canadian. For those of you who like socialised medicine that we have in Canada please be advised of the following. If Tom had not been in RD and been back home I sincerely doubt he would be with us. He has obtained swift care here that no doubt saved his life. In our country he would have been on a waiting list and perished. I am so happy for Tom and Tanya that they have chosen this country and the occupation because it has kept Him alive this long. For those of you who do not like the health care in this country think again.

I must disagree with you on this. Close family and friends diagnosed with cancer were treated quickly. Non-life threatening ailments are another story.
