may I ask about your overhang lol

im in the dark about technical aspects of building here - would a large overhang be a problem to contruct- i heard at least three foot is best (this is on a bungalow)

No, it's not a problem, as long as you have a high roof line (ceiling), or people will bump their heads against the overhang and it would darken the interior too much. This holds true for porches too. Again, one more good reason for high ceilings.
