Its about an hour away from Sosua Beach as I understand. And if the only other bar mentioned in this thread has price of $80K this one seems to warrant outbidding.

I havnt seen any posts so far offering me a better deal... anyone want to sell thier bar w/an apartment and a car for $10K? Im open to suggestions...
Is this thread a joke? At least it's a funny one. Also 1 hr. from Sosua beach could be anywhere between Gaspar Hernandez and Navarete. 10K$US is probably what they are asking for a a spot with 40 chairs on the beach.

I wish you the best of luck, and hope all works out for you.
Be careful though, profitmaking bars are very rare here, and do check up how the profit is made.. i.e licences, that taxes are paid etc.
Otherwise, even if you are not worried about losing money, you still buy a bag of trouble.
Also do check up, WHO consider this bar to be established etc etc.

Every bar and restaurant more or less is for sale on the North Coast, and there is a reason for that, believe me.
And be sure that the purchase is not accomplished by a simple transfer of the present corporation stock to your name. You will inherit any outstanding liabilities such as employee liquidation and taxes. It is not unheard of to have a closing were you were the search revealed all taxes were paid to date and 6 months later the tax people show up demanding years of unpaid back taxes. Be sure the assets are sold to your new corporation.

That "2000" a month for electricity sounds "Way OFF!"

That does not reflect the actual cost to run compressor driven refrigerators and freezers! Also an "Invertor" would need to have a huge capacity, and be connected to 50 batteries to run freezers/refrigerators! You would need a generator for that!Buy a bar in Sosua, then I will help you run the place!! Cris colon

electricity $2000 ???

hi,

I think Criss is right...make sure you check to find out what the real monthly electric bill is and check back as far as possible...I have a small cafe/bar in my shop with 2 freezers and 1 refrigerator ...florescent lights and A/C used in moderation...still waiting for my first monthly electric bill for less than $15,000.00 RD..

good luck,

Rich

I noticed a karaoke bar for sale in Sosua, and it came with a vehicle for I think $80.000 US.
It's near all the hooker bars.

It's for sale!
