Hi guys, still trying to decipher all the CAIPS notes has in it. It is a very confusing document, even with the codes, which help alot.

The notes on the file are very helpful, they tell you the concerns the processor is having with your file, which is good to know.

It tells you who has worked on your file, medical results and bring forward dates.

I do have a question though ...

Paper File sent to DA File BF'D to DIN on 30-10-2009

What is "DA"? and what is "DIN"?

Thanks.

From what I can figure from the various sites to help decipher your CAIPS.

DA is the storage area and maybe DIN is who the file will be given to or the action to be taken on the file I'm not sure which but can't find DIN as an acronym anywhere, but I'll keep looking for you.

Could be way off but I have a guess....could DIN be Decide Interview or Determine Interview Date or something along those lines.

Here is the link to all the names of the people currently working at the embassy in PAP.

Canadian Representatives Abroad

Didn't see any names that would match DIN but it might be helpful in deciphering who was looking at your file.

Maybe el-uruguayo will know....

I sponsored my husband to Canada in 2005. He was approved quickly and he had no interview. I am wondering if I can still order my CAIPS notes just for curiosity sake to see what they had to say about our file? Is it too late? It might be helpful for some people to see why some people are denied and others approved?

I would try. It is only 5 dollars and would be interesting to you and helpful to others.
