You and I have lived here for many years and owned and overcome the probs therein on business matters..

However after all those years, when I leave for business/family,, matters. I ALWAYS pay my bills in
ADVANCE... For Electric/Internet supply.. etc.. and receive a PHYSICAL RECEIPT..




My reply to the original op of this thread is;

PLEASE DO NOT CALL the Tel.Nos of EDEN/CLARO and pay by ANY EX-Pat CCard !! >>
even those CCards issued by the banks here..

You will AUTO be transferred to a CALL CENTER in a different country & pass your info./CCard details onto them.


Trust me.. it will take you months to check your bank statements with the Banks here and your home country..
You will eventually give up..


No such thing in the DR to pay by bills by AUTO Direct DEBIT..

Ladybird Good morning... I tried just that two days ago@ EdeNorte office in Cabarete, I paid my due blll for September & tried to pay my estimated bill for the next one or two more months...they wouldnt allow it , just 500 pesos extra ontop of the bill which did not help anything, I still have to get someone to pay the bill in my behalf, and from Banco Santa Cruz ,eventually they will have that online bill pay service but not ready yet & no date reported.
