YYZ to POP December 5/20 West Jet Have been flying West Jet for Many years to POP from YYZ and return No problems.

You are right, we originally booked for Nov 17th and got cancelled because of lack of people wanting to go to POP, as a result all flights were cancelled for Nov. We are now able to fly on Dec 5th. many more flights for Dec. are available.

Watch for westjet to cancel or scale back their December flights to POP starting about mid November. I wouldn't care if there was just one flight per week. All I am asking for is a bit of reliability. If they schedule the flight and sell tickets they need to fly that flight or not schedule quite so many flights.

could involve an overnight....

AA has that MIA-POP route

Thanks for the info, we used that option for a few years a real pain in the **** going through Atlanta or Miami. I prefer the direct route with west jet , I am sure they will be flying regular soon, all the airlines are finding it hard to find passengers to fill their flights with the Pandemic, Going through the US is not on my list of things to do at the moment.

Atalanta has no flights to POP either - these days

Airlines (US) are at about 30% flight schedule....

Options are few.... YYZ to NYC direct was not an option in Sept for my wife
Nyc was routed thru ORD........... overnight and on to POP in the AM

DAMNNNNNNN, air transat changed their flight dates. Which i can live with , WEST SCAM has the dates I want but , I trust WEST JET as much as i would a crack head with my cash and the PIN to my bank card. If columbus can sail there , SO can I

Air transat actually did it , they had flights Dec 17th return was Jan 1st , but that has been removed. They are only flying on Mondays.

Seems to be little desire to come from the Cdn group....

Until the pax load gets up...... no flights...........IMO

As long as the canadian gov has the 14 day quarantine I dont expect a reliable shecdule to anywhere in the DR except Punta Cana. It seems to be the only place on the island that can sustain full flights.

and beginning Nov 21 all international travellers arriving must submit through an app their quarantine plan and update it every day. If you dont you can be delayed and fined upon arrival. No more paper forms will be given.
