Car hire

We always rent a car when we stay in DR but I have just heard that the guy we usually rent off has left the hotel and the hotel have stopped renting cars.
Argh!!
Does anyone know of where we can rent a reasonably priced car for 2 weeks, that preferably doesnt need a credit card when you hire it.

We usually got a lovely black jeep, automatic with cd player for $40 a day.

Any help would be great!!

How much does he charge? And does he require a deposit or a credit card or anything? I would prefer a jeep but a car would do fine, depends on the price really. I will send him an email, thanks for the recommendation.
