As legit as a girl on Pedro Clisante telling you she loves you............
I think the honesty code of many lesser dealers in DR is to hide every problem, disconnect check engine lights ( I found this on two cars ) and rollback or swap out 'tableros' - the odometer displays
The real CARFAX operates in the US/Canada and many of the EU countries. It does not operate in the DR.
Many of the so-called services they offer involve nothing more than VIN lookups that are free to begin with.
They have no discernable affiliation with CARFAX other than when you pay for their high priced services they might pull a CARFAX report from the real CARFAX. They look to mostly just purchase reports from other vendors (AUTOCHECK Auction houses and Salvage Auctions), and package them up for purchase.
I am quite surprised CARFAX has not moved to get a cease and desist order and shut them down on copyright/trade name infringement.

I would not trust anyone they mess with the speedometers here.... they are the lowest of lowest here
Does not work in the DR? I was reading odometer rollbacks and salvage titles that were not on window stickers back in 2012!
Trusting a car dealer in DR is crazier than eating gas station sushi or sending Western Union to a chica for her sick grandmother's hospital bill.
