Caribe Tours from "Las Americas" to Sosua?

So there is no direct bus from Santiago to Las Americas....................but there is a bus that goes directly from Santiago to the bus stop in SD....from which you take a taxi to Las Americas.

Is that correct?

No. That's what they told me on the phone, and how I have done it on my last few trips.


However today I got a bus from Santiago to caribe tour bus stop "Las Americas" . Which is not at the airport sadly, but a few kilometers down the road.
Instead of driving into SD, the bus takes the contourno after the toll booth, I think near the Haina turn off.

I am sure he did....thus my statement which was rhetorical in nature.......as this question comes up countless times from people hoping to take a bus directly either to or from SDQ.
