I have been using the publicos on the Pto Pta to Sos?a route for six years plus, but there is one point on which I remain ignorant.
Those working the route in the day have a red roof-sign saying Pto Pta - Sos?a Transporte (or something like that). Those running at night have a yellow sign including the word "nocturno".
Are these the same cabs and drivers, with just the roof sign switched? And does using the "night" sign entitle the driver to apply the night supplement (5 pesos)?
Do the drivers need to buy a different license to work at night, and is it "either/or", or do some guys work both shifts?
