To be clear I was talking about the dead horse, which draws thousands of visitors every year, not businesses located in and around Encuentro.

Danny says nice things about Sosua, or did you miss that? He even has a business on Sosua Beach. Kinda fails to support your point, eh?

Now back to the thread. The latest Casa Linda development near Encuentro, is not a threat to the remaining beach vendors there.
The land for the development is visible from the main highway, not directly adjacent to the beach vendors. Who they market to or not, is
their business. I know a couple with a three year old child that purchased there.
Never considered the town being filled with "old grumpy Canadians" much of a compliment. Prefer being called old and crusty. Not to worry as the area will soon be filled with families, so you better hurry up and buy property here while you can. Just make sure somebody else raises your kids elsewhere so they don't wind up dating a moto driver here.
