Buy some natural yogurt (without sugar!) add some pressed garlic and grated cucumber and voila you have made your own tzatziki....
You can usually find some in Playero. On one of the stands in front of the meat/deli counter. Packed in half pound containers. Mixed in with containers of Feta, greek yogurt, and garlic sauce. It's made b La Yasiquera. I usually buy the yogurt and make my own Tzatziki. Mine goes best with my homemade Gyro! PM me if you would like my recipe for the sauce.Anyone know of a location that I would find tzatziki sauce to purchase ?
Please refrain from suggestions or opinions.
If you don' t know its alright to do like others and say nothing.

Not necessarily :Tzatziki sauce always has fresh dill or mint in it.
Not necessarily :
- (8 ounce) containers plain yogurt
- 2 cucumbers - peeled, seeded and diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ lemon, juiced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled
I make my own gyro meat.Do you make the meat for your gyros or is there a place to buy it?
Beef or lamb? (If you say lamb, I’ll drool).I make my own gyro meat.
When someone brings me some ground lamb, i mix it with beef. Otherwise we use a mix of beef and pork.Beef or lamb? (If you say lamb, I’ll drool).
Oh! But, Bob, your recipe has dill in it! Without either dill or mint, I believe the tzatziki tastes bland.
