Cheap flight to Puerto Plata???

My friend and I are eagerly trying to find a flight to Puerto Plata.
We are willing to leave from Montreal or any neighboring airport.
We want to go October 5th to October 8th for a quick trip to visit some friends. Any ideas???!!!

Call your travel agent. They have a list of last minute and sell off deals from the operators.

i often hear people talking about great deals they get off the net...from what ive seen it's worse than anything.

The travel agents are now booking Nov. last minutes - it might be too late for a special deal for October - they might be all gone.. Call your agent tomorrow first thing. I just booked for Nov. and got a really decent deal.

Sunwing just had a special waving the fuel surcharge of $100. Special ends Sept. 14th

If you are only planning to go for 3 days, you will likely have to fly through the US. Look at AA or United.

Best bet for Montreal is out of Burlington...Jet Blue. I haven't seen cheaper than them. Although I don't know if they fly to Puerto Plata. Round trip to SD or STI is about 400$ CAD with tax in October (regular price).

I have recently seen tv ads for westjet, now flying to the Dominican Republic. I'm not to sure about the prices, but there will be more competition for the airlines now, hopefully that will cause more flight deals.
