I can personally testify of clinics providing medical services in Puerto Plata and SDQ to US Veterans thru the VA utilizing the VA FMP Program - they do not charge anything and cover for the services provided in the DR; the VA under the FMP Program would cover the treatments as long as they are provided for service connected disabilitIies.

For those who have no clue (doesn't matter your "position" within this board) of how this work, I would ask you to please stop providing misinformation - simple enough

This is a Win/Win Situation. I.m sure that even the Best DR Clinic will not charge even 20% of what a US Clinic would ask for the very same Servuce.

Can you please provide us with the clinics that provide this service? This would benefit many.

That would be soliciting - not doing it as it isn't allowed in the board (surprised you tried to bait and catch me with that non sense questions), besides, I am not affiliated with any of the clinics myself, I am merely mentioning what they do as feedback and not as advise

There is one in SDQ - 27th of February Ave (google it)

Same brand of clinic, just a branch of the above is located in Antera Mota, Puerto Plata

Visit at your own risk

It’s not soliciting, especially when you have no affiliation and if requested by a mod. Third party recommendations have always been allowed.

Feel free to identify the clinics, it may be helpful to someone reading this.

Unfounded as I have not mentioned any affiliation with any military service, rank or position - but based on your own writing; you might have served well as a Private.
I believe Big was an officer, as he challenged me once for knowing the late General Sidney Shacknow.

Like, why would a low-level Dominican know of such a distinguished US Army officer?

By the way, the Veterans Community Care Abroad clinic in Bávaro-Punta Cana is opening a second facility in Punta Cava Village soon.

You should not be embarrassed about your E rank. They make up over 80% of the military. I can say it is not often an Officer makes a VA claim post service. They are usually employed post service with full benefits.

DR1 has become the big boys' playground.

Gone are the days when Texas Bill and other former officers regaled the readers with their respectful and colorful comments and honest-to-goodness honesty and exemplary behavior.

Gomer Pyle, Forrest Gump, and Audie Murphy need not apply.
(Well, Murphy did receive a commission... eventually.)

Yeah. Unjú.

I don't know much, but I've spoken with clinic staff members in Boca Chica and Bávaro.
Punta Cana Village will soon have a clinic, as well.

This is big news! Boca Chica has a VA. and you have spoken to the staff. Interesting. Are the staff members federal employees like other VA facilities?

Oh! I get it now. I'm slow, as evidenced by my dumb answer.

We all know these are not VA clinics.

But thanks for not charging me rent. The Flying Spaghetti Monster knows that I need all the breaks I can get.

I can sense his ego and self appointed superiority - I'll leave it at that, perhaps I did served as enlisted, could have been wearing an O Rank, or just didn't served at all.

Let that sink in and boil a little in that egotist self-centered head oh his.

LOL...I could have claimed the same or could have just said - I am fully retired with all benefits there are from the USA government as an O, or GS 15 step 10; perhaps as a SGM, the thing is that you would never find out and that you'll have to take to your tombstone with you.

Some of these folks have no idea about the same clinics they are berating, but they claim to be of superior knowledge as Officers, or peers of we both; or not, lol

Doesn't take superior knowledge to know there is no VA here.
