Having brought thousands of "Gifts", to Hundreds of girls here in the DR, I learned on VERY important "RULE"
"Don't Bother"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These were mostly girls I met in bars, I admit that, but most "Dominicanas" don't really care anything about "YOU", it's all about

I was once told by a young "Dominicana", (Just a Regular Girl, not a "Hooker), "That at the end of the day in the DR, everyone goes home, and they don't really care about you, just what you will give them!"
Don't get me wrong, I always pay for what I get.

A friend of mine,and I, decided many years ago, "No More "STUFF", just 400 pesos for "SEX"!
Didn't stop a LOT of girls calling EVERYDAY, to come "visit"!
We wished we had decided on 300 pesos.
A lot of girls said we were "CHEAP",..................But NOT STUPID!!!!!!!!!!"
We stayed with "Cheap"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Answer the questions, THEN decide what to bring.
If you met her in a church, then,..."My Bad"!
But I really doubt that!

a friend of mine brought 12 Bulova watches to the DR as samples, looking to find a guy who would take a lot of 2000, heisted from a truck in Long Island City. the guy with the stash told him not to bring the samples back to the USA, because they were too hot to handle. so, he gave them to 12 different girls in Santo Domingo. 3 months later, he went back, and NOT ONE of the girls had a watch. same stories. they got robbed, or the watches fell in the water. all 12. so, Mr OP, save the money. follow the adviceof the sage, Criss Colon.. by the time you are in the departure lounge, Miss Thing will be selling your Kylie Minogue bra for pennies on the dollar, since she probably cannot tell the difference between it and something from La Pulga( the flea market).

I know a girl who, on the same day she received her proposal diamond ring from a gringo, took it to the nearest pawn shop to see how much they would give her for it in case the guy flaked on her at the last minute...by the way, the offered her 90K DOP...
