Missed your point earlier.I was talking about the 3000 pesos difference between the blood test and the PCR test - "if you're concerned" If you're not, don't take it.
Understood. Thanks.

No thanks. Infection or no infection.
Not willing to pony up.
Everyone in my building (myself included) had a real nasty case of "influenza" first week of Feb 2020. My healthy immune system beat it no problem.
All the same symptoms as the covi minus the loss of taste. No one died. No one got tested. I'm wondering to this day whether it was covid or not. No plans to get tested as it was almost a year ago and don't need any headaches.
The last I heard they do the antibody blood test and it is not the one you need to go to the US(?).Has anyone used the clinic across from the playero for covid testing using the antigen test for going to usa?
CMC is on the US Embassy website list of approved labsThe last I heard they do the antibody blood test and it is not the one you need to go to the US(?).
That's correct. It's the only one I've heard of in the Cabarete/Sosua area. There are two approved sites in Puerto Plata,.CMC is on the US Embassy website list of approved labs
That place only does antibody testing, so it's no good. CMC is easy and the correct test for the US.Has anyone used the clinic across from the playero for covid testing using the antigen test for going to usa?
