Same as me. No, not using any Clorox.I got some rash on upper chest. Itchy at times. Red speckled stuff. Are you using a lot of Clorox to wipe stuff down?

I thought of that. Not living any differently now than I have all my life and my girlfriend, the only persom I'm "in contact" with, does not have this rash.Permethrin is an FDA registered carcinogen. It’s used in low concentrations to treat body lice, scabies, etc. Bug bites and infestations where the bugs have laid eggs on your skin or laid them beneath the surface of your skin. Not commenting on your personal hygiene here Cavok. Just providing usage information. Your rash may be the result of a bug bite or infestation.
Taking Zyrtec, self-prescribed, of course.Same as me. No, not using any Clorox.
I'm taking that, too. It does help. The betamethasone(injection) stopped the itching in a matter of hours. I'm wondering if it's some kind of allergic reaction(?).Taking Zyrtec, self-prescribed, of course.
I don't know her name but there is a good one in Puerto Plata that visits CMC a couple of times a week.I thought of that. Not living any differently now than I have all my life and my girlfriend, the only persom I'm "in contact" with, does not have this rash.
The first time the rash appeared the doc(who is not a dermatologist because I couldn't find one), also gave me a shot of dexamethasone - a strong cortosteroid(along with the script of permethrin). That stopped the itching almost immediately and the rash went away in several days.
This time, it's finally going away after almost 10 days of using it, so I'm not sure if the doc's diagnosis was correct or if the lotion had anything to do with it going away(?). From what I've read, you only have to use it one or two times.
If you know of a good dermo in Puerto Plata, let me know.
Maybe from tinaco water. I am sensitive to water from the tap. I notice my rash after meals sometimes a flare-upI'm taking that, too. It does help. The betamethasone(injection) stopped the itching in a matter of hours. I'm wondering if it's some kind of allergic reaction(?).

I think the other poster. I just use Zyrtec. I had scabies in 2012. Not fun. Benzene killed it.Water filtration systems in some areas may not be receiving proper attention during these moments. Following a proper shower, or how you choose to bathe, try using Mexana 3x daily. This can be found in any pharmacy or market. It is a medicated powder which treats fungus appearances. Think athlete's foot or jock itch. The active ingredient is Triclosan. At times you can receive these rashes on inner groin and chest areas. If it is accompanied with fever, or other symptoms, consult a doctor. If not a simple fungal rash, you may be looking at bed bites or scabies.
No, I am not a doctor, but this should assist the troubles.

In 2001 when I had an infected eczema flare, I saw Doctora Germosen at the Dermatological Clinic in Puerto Plata. The building is on a street one block off the Malecón. I think if you turn onto one of the streets that flank the Bomberos building it will be nearby.
She prescribed a very strong steroid cream called clobetasol and the flare and infection cleared promptly.
Eczema is of course an allergic reaction, so the steroid worked. The cream is not intended for long term use since it is so potent.
Use the malaria cocktail mix. It cures everything.
Unfortunately, no docs are doing consultations at CMC now. Emergencies only.I don't know her name but there is a good one in Puerto Plata that visits CMC a couple of times a week.
Is it just me? Over the past six weeks I have paid pretty close attention to the reported numbers of infected/dead/recovered. While I do not feel those reported numbers are an accurate reflection of reality in any given location as the numbers of tests administered contributes significantly to the accuracy of that picture.
However, some patterns emerged and one could reasonably predict when the infection rates went exponential with a community or when a backlog of test results were released.
In the weeks and month that have followed the arrival of CV19 in the west and indeed around the world, a loose general pattern developed in countries that claimed to be doing a somewhat reasonable amount of testing. I can't help but notice that the reported numbers in the Dominican Republic are not progressing as I believe this over all pattern suggests they should. Is something wrong with the numbers being reported for the Dominican Republic.
