And how many followed up with something other than Si No Vac..............that may well be the real reason things are a lot better there.

Not to mention the severe lock downs/curfews.

Of course with 99+% vaccinated in Altagracia or was it Punta Cana/Bavaro....................lol.

Carry on.

Respectfully,
Playacaribe2
There were no severe lookdowns in the DR.

The people getting the Most SICK right now are the Vaccinated ... I did not Rage Google that .
We are seeing that here in a Hot spot in central NJ...
The unvaccinated who have Antibodies seem to still be doing fine, even when exposed to the new Variant .
but hey wtf do we know ... the media says its not so .
What a crock....................

Yes, breakthrough infections happen. But vaccination still massively decreases the risk of hospitalization and death from COVID-19.

When you look at the population hospitalized with COVID-19, “Without a doubt, it’s unvaccinated people,” said Dr. Joshua Huelster, a critical care/intensivist at Allina’s Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Huelster said the last figure he heard put the share of COVID-19 ICU patients who are unvaccinated at 92 percent.

Abinader assures there are more jobs than before the Covid-19 pandemic

Thanks to Sinovac.................

The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, assured today that the country’s employment levels are above those that existed before the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The most important thing is employment for the Dominicans. Today we already have a higher level of jobs than what existed before the pandemic,” said Abinader.
“I think that there should not be five countries in the world that have these indicators, therefore we are very happy,” said the president.

A rose by any other name....................states of emergency, curfews etc.......but no "lookdowns" [sic].

You have NO Clue what is happening in the DR or did happen in the DR. You do NOT live here like the person you quoted. This place has NO curfew or lockdown. Any curfew was late at night and gone for quite awhile.................

Back to Normal because
1)- the BANS on all people who are not Vaccinated , entering Public Buildings, Stores etc is WORKING so well ?
or
2) because they are 100% Vaccinated ?
feel free to add anything else you have posted in the past

and
Ill take "things that never happened in the DR for $1000 Alex"
People loose interest in anything after awhile.
Some things that got old:

Pokemon - Don't see nuts running around for that anymore
Rubik's Cube - See one lately
Hoola Hoop - Not many around
Fifty Shade of Grey - Whose reading that ? (See Below)
Avocado Appliances - Someone was actually looking for them on this forum !
Macrame wall decorations
8-Track Tapes - Maybe making a comeback ?
Dream Catchers - Where did I store my blacklight moonbeam ?
Defund the Police - Yeah that worked so well
Livestrong bands - Not to be confused with Anhvee guests bands
Bling Bling - I will hit someone of they use that term
Mullets - Although I heard Windy still rocks one.

So Covid political bandwagon has past its use-by-date and I think DR is ready to say enough already.
Let's enjoy Christmas without restrictions, like Santa intended.

Published today in The Lancet:

Majority of those infected and dead in D, UK, USA, Israel are fully vaccinated

Shifting more each day to a pandemic of the vaccinated including ICU and death.

This will be the "breakthrough" story of 2022.
Along with out of raging control inflation (I expect it to double that of 2021), it will soon be be shown that the vaccines were a canard, and in fact wound up exacerbating the Covid Crisis and a lot of those pro-vax-pundits will be looking for cabins in the hills.

Having to be inside your home by 12pm Saturday and Sunday wasn't severe? Suerly you jest.
Not being able to run around after midnight in this country is not severe, in fact it is a gift................

Nope, not severe at all. Most sensible people are home by that time anyways. Rarely anything good happens after midnight.
12pm is after midnight and you are involved with educating these children?

12pm aint midnight and folks should be able to move around as needed regardless of what time of day or night it may be.

For those that like to out late at night and party, it wasn't "good", but compared to curfews in other countries, and even in some states in the US, it wasn't "bad" either.
