I just moved to BM cargo, with a contracted corporate rate at less than 160 pesos per pound including taxes, local transport, and fiscal invoice. Got my first package 10 pounds just paid for it yesterday, at a franchisee branch, all good, rate as contracted. You must own a corporation to be eligible.

Doc, I have BM Cargo. Why couldn't they ship your box and what was the outcome?

Not sure if this has to do with this, but this was sent as a general email last month (my name is not Juan Perez....): So appears that Amazon is strict about the address or something like this? We mainly order from Ebay, and there are sellers every now and then who say that USPS declines my address (for BMCargo in Miami), so we figured out a solution with one seller last year:

Change the address in Ebay's system however you need for it to pass in the system, BUT mark the package clearly (even handwriting is fine) with the exactly correct BMCargo address). Works like a charm...

I have used CPS for 10 years now. They charge me 100 pesos a pound (I ship with them almost every day) but then always add on a lot of other charges on top, so it ends up at 250 per pound very roughly. If you set up an account with them you can get this type of rate if you ship regularly. I complained recently because they were delivering really slowly and we had a few problems with the messenger service, but they did respond and since complaining things have got a lot better. I have never noticed them overcharge but like other posters said, the weight and the dimensions of the package determine the charge, so bulky things that are light are charged at much more than their weight.

I would suggest that you email their head of customer service, Blanca.Mera@cps-dom.com and explain that you are concerned that you are being overcharged, give your CPS number and ask for an explanation of the charges. If you need to call her her number is 809 563 2000 Ext 7473. Explain that the person refused to give you a receipt which is illegal in any case. And ask how you can arrange a discount if you ship with them regularly.
