Current cost of cement block

I have a friend with a block factory and they get 26 at the plant. Manoguaynabo. Produces 5000 a day and sells out every day. Get this: they net 3 pesos a block. Tough business.

Sounds about right , for ANY Manufacturing Co .. 5% is a Low Margin, 10% is good , and 20 % would be exceptional .
So 10% is a nice margin... I am assuming after all Salaries are paid , and all other overhead is covered from the Gross Profit Margin ..

Net should mean - after all expenses.
sometimes it's taken as the difference between raw cost to make and selling price - before overhead , etc

Less their running costs. Not a bad return i'd say

With 12 employees and running a generator all day she has a hard time making payroll.

I am no expert.
I hire professionals to handle my construction needs.
