This may have occurred because the body was in the morgue (kept at cold temp) and
when they took the body home a few days later it was room temp. Just like what
happens when you take meat out of the freezer or fridge if you leave it out it will
become room temp.
The reason why a body is so cold when it's placed in a coffin is because of the chemicals
injected during embalming (at funeral home) to preserve it for viewing prior to burial.
Remember these people have no money for embalming as they are too poor.
Good for the family that the coffin is still standing upright in a room because they will
be needing it in a few more days.
