Decent Bakery in Puerto Plata?

In Cabarete there is Dick's and The Belgian Bakery. I have never seen anything like them in POP.

I never said what Jumbo had, just that it seemed to have some stuff that was better than other POP locations. Certainly not what Dicks or the Belgian Bakery have.

Now that I see the menu options, it does not look like much of a "bakery".

I am afraid you are looking for unobtanium in POP. Never saw anybody sell fresh bagels here, by the way, just imported ones in a plastic bag. The muffins I have gotten in Dominican grocery stores have not been worth eating.

Belgium bakery has a wide variety of items including muffins. But they do not have everything all the time. Best to call ahead to be sure. +1 829-571-8198

That’s the only one that bakes the real baguette. Sometimes they deliver to RSJ Café de Paris.

I agree that the best bread around is Moulin de Paris. They deliver every morning at 8am to Playero. Their breads are absolutely delicious, especially their rustic breads and I also like their Pan Chocolat and the plain croissants. Playero also have their freshly baked breads that are kept warm which are also excellent.
