People from Chile are chilenos, but a chilena seems to also refer to a homemade knife, a shank, a shiv.
There doesn't seem to be movement of people from and to the DR from Chile or Paraguay.

The definition in the Urban dictionary is all wrong. Pariguayo is a tonto, not a bull-sh!tter. It comes from 'party watcher', el t?guere que no baila, no tiene mujeres, no tiene muela.
And it dates back to the Yankee occupation of 1916-1924, when young U.S. soldiers were allowed to go out and party, and the one responsible for the party (the party watcher) was not allowed to drink or dance... sorta like your designated driver today.
So, when Dominicans asked, "Y este t?guere, por qu? no baila y bebe?"
Soldier: "Oh! I'm the party-watcher."

This is how it went-the conversation was about me not bringing people with me on my trips (i.e. "wingmen"). I told her "yo no ando con pendejos que no se saben quidar". The young lady responded, "Si. Deja los pariguayos en sus casa", but again, did not elaborate on the meaning.
I thought it was some sort of sanky reference because someone had mentioned that to me on a previous occasion, but the definitions of "sanky" and "pendejo" are way far apart.
It depends upon how the person uses it although it may not mean that. Take for
instance the words maldito or "degraciao"(desgraciado) the words actually mean cursed, disgraced.
But when emphasize is placed on it in Spanish, it can mean something more than what it actually
means.
