A few years ago a stellar guy named Frank (young Frank), who managed an Irish Pub in Cabarete, got me a dish of green seaweed as we dined at a restaurant a few hundred yards north up-road from his place. The meal and this particular side dish were simply outstanding!! Yup.
Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact place but I drove by a few weeks ago and it seems as if it may be shut down. So, as I am assuming the restaurant is no more, does anyone know of it, and where I can find this in DR?
It was served in a bowl, and ith a texture similar to that of noodles....but bright green in color, almost transparent.
Sooooo good! And I've looked and asked all over my area of La Vega and Santiago...but nothing.
