Now here's something you don't see every day. Reina Rosario filed a complaint against her boss who promptly fired her.

The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, reinstated Reina Rosario on Tuesday as director of the National Museum of History and Geography.
The information was offered this Tuesday on his Twitter account by the Legal consultant of the Executive Power, Antoliano Peralta.

Peralta indicated that the head of state reinstated Rosario "taking into account her high professional and moral qualifications."

The consultant did not explain the reasons why Rosario was dismissed in the first place, but today it was revealed that the historian was canceled after filing a complaint for verbal aggression against Carlos Andújar, National Director of Museums of the Ministry of Culture.
Furthermore, for allegedly refusing to withdraw the complaint against Andújar, which was placed with the Directorate Against Gender Violence of the Attorney General's Office (PGR).
Several media outlets report that, according to the complaint, dated August 13, Andújar called Rosario to tell her "that he is going to teach her to respect", "that he is going to tame her", "that he is her boss. and that he is not alone ", that he will have to submit" to good or bad, among other phrases.
So far, no one from the government has said what will happen to the situation or if any action will be taken against Andújar.

it'd be poetic justice if she ended up in his position.

What I find incredible is this man is a sociologist and the Director of the Ministerio de Cultura.

Poetic justice indeed. As long as he didn’t seek some sort of revenge. The blow to his ego alone is huge already, let alone his pocketbook if he gets fired.

The fact that the man in charge of national culture behaved so ignorantly isn’t really so shocking when you think about it.
It’s not just the tigueres in the barrios that are responsible for this “culture”. It happens often, they just don’t get called out.
