Since I am a fountain pen collector and use a fountain pen daily, this has my interest.
Where did the fountain pens go in the Dominican Republic when ballpoint pens did not exist?
I have asked sometimes and some older people said that they always wrote with a pencil or a crown pen (I also learned to write with that in primary school).
Others just threw them away.
I have never found an antique fountain pen here in all those years.
