The owner is an old man. He can be interjecting himself into a fight with 4 young men - He might be dead too.
Glad the cops rounded them all up so quick and hope they all get life with no possibility of parole

What has this world become.... makes me sick to my stomach one kid is Dead and all the others will be in jail for life....heartless

Yes, I too feel sick to my stomach and have felt as such for days in regards to this young victim. As for the others who will be in jail for life supposedly? I could care less. Life in jail is too good for them. Please do not make them out to be victims of society. They are savages, and a disgrace to the worldwide Dominican community.

I wonder if this qualifies for federal Terrorism Charges .. The Gang did admit they killed the wrong person, so in effect anyone who LOOKS like someone a gang is targeting could also be the next target, that could be any Random person , no ?. Is that not the definition of Terrorism ? Not to mention what they did to the minds of the people in that whole neighborhood running as a PACK through the streets with Machetes and knives .. If that does not qualify as Domestic Terrorism, I really don't know what does.
Taking it to a Federal Level would be so much better . NY would never even consider the death penalty .

How old is too old to call 911?

How old is too old to attempt to administer some type of first aid?

I saw the extradition hearing for the pieces of crap who murdered that young kid. Those bad boys looked so tame and docile during te hearing. They barely if at all lifted their heads while the judge was reading the charges. Bunch of tough guys are now going to face the music in good ol' Rykers Island. Hard heads make soft butts..No pun intended.

Life in jail will make them wish for the death penalty.

Did he not call the cops? Does he speak Spanish or English. Is he a foreigner. Was he threatened by the gang. A lot of facts not established.
I probably would have jumped in but that's me and I'm nearing 70. Others are more timid

"A trio of City Council members says the deli owner who didn’t intervene when gangbangers dragged an innocent teen from his deli and slaughtered him should have his store shuttered."

“An owner who stands idly by while a 15-year-old is dragged out of his store and murdered in cold blood with a machete is no longer worthy of doing business in NYC,” reads a letter council members Ritchie Torres, Vanessa Gibson and Rafael Salamanca sent to the Department of Consumer Affairs Commissioner Lorelai Salas on Monday demanding the agency yank the deli’s business license."

Truly sad but unfortunately, that's how it is when you live in the jungle. Eventually, he will shuttter his store on his own due to no one patronizing his bodega. The bodega owner is a prime example of a cowardly, selfish human being. Life will pay him back if he did so with malice in his heart.

From the reports I have read, NO he did not call 911. Even if he only speaks Spanish I am quite certain 911 in nuevo york has Spanish speaking operators. All reports I have read NO ONE in the bodego did a darn thing. Curious, did you happen to see the video where he chased the kid out the store when the kid came in bleeding to death?

Look at it again, he points to the door. That is as good as chasing him out as can be as far as I am concerned. Especially when you see someone bleeding to death. That store will never open again, at least not under the same ownership.

One thing confuses me. The kid who they wanted to kill. The one who posted the video on Facebook and then went live......

Wouldn’t they know his name from Facebook? I don’t understand how they set up the wrong kid if their names are different.

They are members of one of the most feared gangs in NY. Both in the street and in the prison system. They will be fine...

FRANK SAYS IMMIGRANTS don't commit crimes in NYC so it must be mistaken identity.

My question would be, how do you know those that attacked this poor kid are not all U.S born citizens or are we going to just play the immigrant card here without fact checking first? It's just a thought....oh, wait...they are Hispanic so they couldn't have been born in the U.S? Typical...

Remember, they have given their gang "The Trinitarios" a bad name.

Not only are the rapists, other Dominicans, etc waiting for them in jail, the actual die hard Trinitarios are waiting for them with open arms.

They will get theirs. Trust me.

A little about "The Trinitarios":

Gangs thrive by instilling fear. Mission accomplished. They brought some heat down. But they also sent and very strong message. They are not to be ****ed with.

True but you cannot make these kinds of mistakes. They have to account for this within the gang.

They installed fear, yes. This gang been around for close to 30 years. Pretty sure "mistaken identities" incidences don't happen all the time within those 30 years.

They have to be held accountable within their click. IMHO...………...
