Arod is a Dominican-American.
His blood is 100% Dominican "blend", which explains why he can claim his Dominican citizenship by simply going to his closest Dominican consulate, presenting proof that at least one of his parents were born in the DR and voila, sign a few papers and by law he's a real Dominican.
Biologically = 100% Dominican from father and mother.
Culturally = a blend of Dominican and American.
Politically = American with the option to acquire his Dominican citizenship by merely proving at a Dominican consulate that he has Dominican blood (How many non-Dominicans can do that without having to do all the steps required for truly non-Dominicans in order to be granted Dominican citizenship?).
He's Dominican in everything except culture, which is a blend of Dominican and American. Thus, he's more Dominican than American and let's leave it at that!
