I dont know. Sao Paulo is a gun city. So is Brazil in general. Why would anyone want to go there and risk getting shot or mugged in broad daylight.

I also heard a lot that to come to DR is very dangerous. But the main reason they are flying from GRU is because they have conecting flights from EZE and SCL to PUJ.

Where does it stop? Direct is 1 or more stops on the same plane. Non-stop is non-stop. Common misuse of the term.

The title read,"

DR again has a direct flight from Brazil". And the body of the article read,"directly' from GRU. Hence,my question prior to reading article. Hopefully someone has learned the difference from the 2,that was my point.

99% of people do not know a lot things about airlines, and you can read things like Condor will resume flights to DR using Boeing 737-200, with this example I think you got my point. So Direct flights and none stop flights would mean the same for the 99% of readers, They should say non stop flight because Copa and Avianca was connecting DR using PTY and BOG, just for to say an example. So from regular newspapers never spect to see accurate information about aviation.
