Out of curious, if you were president elected, what would you do if you want to move entire DR gov't out of SD to a new location where it will be solely for government officials. If it was me, I would either move the capital either next to La Isabela Int'l Airport or move it to Boano then rent the buildings in SD for extra revenue to support the gov't operations.

I am so curious to see your thoughts on this. This would allow gov't to be safe and far from everything something in case so it wont affect them. The new location would have apartments, houses, private hospitals and all that also access to the airport next door, more privately.

Maybe move some government institutions near Punta Cana airport.

IMO it would need to stay in the Santo Domingo area for easy transportation (airport) access. I realize there are other airports in the country, but SDQ has the best flight flow for business. Punta Cana has a lot going on tourist wise so I doubt they would want any type of disruption/distraction from that. As JD posted with the sheer volume of government employees, sections, etc.. I don't see moving an option.
